Name: Nova Knightstep

After graduation I went straight to Odessa College for the first summer session. I had every intention of becoming a pharmacist. Turns out that they want you to be able to pass chemistry in order to do this. After several attempts I changed my major to Psychology. I graduated from OC in 1988 and then went on to Texas Tech University and graduated in 1990 with a Bachelors in Psychology with a minor in Spanish.

I married Les (Mechanical Engineering) in August of 1990. One of those mixed marriages...he's a Panther I'm a Broncho. Moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma for a few months while my husband completed some training for his job. His job moved us to Paintsville, Kentucky in December of '90. We were there for about a year. He then transferred to Perryton, Texas where we spent the next year. He then took a position at a different company in Big Spring and we've been there ever since.

Since we've lived here in Big Spring I've I've been a substitute teacher at Coahoma High School. I've also been an I.S.S. (In-School Suspension) teacher at the same school. I am currently a gymnastics coach for a competitive team. I'm also in the process of trying to start a new gymnastics gym with another coach that I work with. I've been a manager for a women's fast pitch softball team. I've also been a cheerleading coach and a cheerleading coordinator for the local football league.

I have two children, both girls. My oldest, Shelbi, is 11 years old and is on the gymnastics team. My youngest, Austyn, is 4 years old. They have both kept me busy over the years with all their various activities.....dance, swimming, softball, basketball, gymnastics....not to mention things with their schools!

It hasn't been the most glamorous life...but it's my life! ;-)
